Originally from the US, Kelly had worked across 4 continents before making Perth her home in 2016. With a background in Live Arts and Longform, as a Producer, Kelly has a passion for creating space for storytellers and bringing visions to life. In Kelly’s previous role as Head of Production, in just over 3 years, she delivered over 200 episodes of broadcast television to the Nine Network. Kelly loves fast-paced work and solving a creative challenge and if you need her on her days off, you can find her either playing footy, teaching yoga, or walking her dog, Daisy.

Never one to shy away from adventure, Lauren has worked across the state on TV commercials (Lotterywest, Internode, Western Power), factual series (New Leash on Life – SBS), observational documentaries (Outback Car Hunters – Discovery Channel), scripted TV series (AACTA winning Mystery Road – ABC) and feature films (Kid Snow, He Ain’t Heavy). She has also received funding and produced documentary and scripted short form projects. Committed to bringing your vision to life, Lauren manages all aspects of post-production on episodic and feature film projects at Sandbox.

With over a decade of experience, James has honed his skills as a producer, working on diverse range of projects. His impressive portfolio includes content for Disney, Channel 7, Channel 10, Chevron, McDonald’s, Toyota, and sports teams and organisations such as Manchester United, Cricket Australia, and The AFL. A multifaceted talent, James has managed production aspects such as directing, editing, and floor management for high-profile events such as the T20 World Cup and AFL Grand Final. With keen attention to detail and a passion for innovation, James brings unparalleled creativity and expertise to every project.

Discovering his love of all things screen at a young age, Matt has over 12 years of professional experience, having worked on everything from short films and high end TVCs to big-budget feature films, receiving credits for The Wolverine, I, Frankenstein, Paper Planes and H is for Happiness to name a few. His work has taken him all over Australia and to Canada, allowing him to build strong relations with production companies around the world and working with clients such as McDonalds, Visa, Canon, HBF, Lotterywest, Crown and Samsung.

Madison is a diverse producer with five years of industry experience in production spanning across digital content, TVCs, short films, web-series & TV. Working within the TVC team at Sandbox, Madison has produced & post-produced a variety of broadcast, digital and social campaigns for clients such as RAC, Lotterywest and Tourism WA.

Her educational background has seen her complete both a Bachelor of Film & TV as well as a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology. This mix of qualifications has equipped her with a unique blend of developed creative skills and exceptional people skills for effective collaborations amongst diverse teams.

Taihra has worked in the media industry for over 15 years, first starting out in front of the camera as an actor. Her passion for storytelling has taken her all over the world, from creating content for some of Australia’s biggest radio networks in Samoa and New Zealand, to producing various travel shows in Europe and Regional Western Australia. Her charisma and unique perspective makes collaboration a treat, bringing ideas to life with lasting impact. She is an award-winning writer and director, with numerous nominations such as the 2021 Screen Culture Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing and the 2021 CinefestOZ Best Short Film award for her film, Peanut. Outside of the Sandbox, you can find Taihra still playing… just with her dogs.

Jack is a versatile film and commercial production professional with 5 years of experience wearing multiple hats in production, post-production and exhibition. Jack is also a key member of the WA Youngbloods Committee and organises the annual Battle of the Ad Bands event. Jack’s skills, in-depth technical knowledge and contributions to the film industry have established him as a dedicated professional with a bright future ahead.

With 15 years experience working in the film and television industry, specialising in post-production as an editor and Dolby Vision certified colourist, Joel has an extensive technical knowledge of all aspects of post including DIT, VFX pipelines and Mastering. This has seen him work on a variety of big brand TVC campaigns for clients both locally and nationally as well as experience on international studio feature film productions.

With a passion for colour, photography, and design, Jaemie enjoys sitting in dark rooms and eeking out every detail captured, working closely with cinematographers and directors to ensure only the best result is obtainable. As our in-house colourist, Jaemie has worked on feature films and TV Series for Universal, Disney+, Discovery to name a few, as well as high profile brand TVCs for over 15 years.

Due to Robert’s exceptional understanding of vision and sound, his expertise spans across multiple disciplines including editing, composing and directing. His first feature film, An Ideal Host, has won multiple awards internationally and picked up the Outstanding Achivement in Narrative Film and the Independent Spirit Awards at WASCA in 2021.

Tony has enjoyed a solid career as a VFX artist with credits in over 20 feature films. He has experience in all aspects of VFX including project management and supervision. Tony now passionately leads our VFX team as a Senior compositor and Head of VFX.

Paul Siciliano is one of the most experienced 3d animators working in the WA industry today. He is an AFI nominated artist with 12 years working as a Senior VFX Artist/3D Animator at Sandbox’s earlier incarnation Double G. He went on to spend 8 years at Staccato 3d Animation working on award winning TVCs for clients like Lotterywest, Brownes and Transperth.

Matt began his career being tutored by industry professionals at the ABC, after spending several years creating graphics for the news and children’s programs Matt joined Sandbox as our Motion Graphics Designer. Matt has an exceptional ability to finesse 2D and 3D animation, bringing your complex ideas to life.

Taeyn is a talented illustrator and animator who has quickly climbed the ranks at Sandbox since joining the team in 2018. With an Advanced Diploma in Digital Media/Animation he specialises in 2D animation, motion graphics, character design, concept art, graphic design, digital painting and editing. Taeyn’s claim to fame is that he became a published author at aged 10 by winning the Hans Christian Anderson Award which was presented to him by none other than Princess Mary and Prince Frederik of Denmark.

Val is a skilled editor with a passion for storytelling across multiple formats. After graduating from the WA Screen Academy in 2021, he began his professional career at Sandbox.

Val’s experience as an editor has spanned both freelance and in-house roles, allowing him to hone his skills in a variety of environments. He is equally comfortable working on TV commercials, short films and documentaries and has a deep understanding of the technical and creative aspects of the editing process.

Whether he’s working on internal corporate video or a short-form social media campaign, Val is committed to delivering the highest quality work.

Graduating from the WA Screen Academy with a Masters in Screen Studies, Holly has enjoyed 7 years of industry experience to date which has taken her across Australia, New Zealand and Los Angeles. Her expertise in post sound production has been honed through her work on TV series, feature films, short-form content, radio, audiobooks and podcasts. With a special interest in documentary, Holly is also an active film producer in her own right, dedicated to impactful storytelling. Her production background grants her a comprehensive understanding of the filmmaking process, enabling her to excel in post sound production.

Using his experience to custom-design Perth’s leading sound recording facility, Brad opened Soundbyte in 2010. His work in sound production and talent directions has been globally recognised at Cannes Advertising Festival, D&AD and the London International Awards. He’s worked with David Attenborough and Darth Vader himself, James Earl Jones.

Colin is an experienced sound engineer with over 40 years of industry experience in television production, post-production sound and location sound recording. Throughout his career, Colin has worked on a range of television productions, from dramas to documentaries, and has a reputation for delivering high-quality audio that enhances the viewing experience. He has an exceptional ear for sound and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of recording and mixing audio. With his experience and expertise, Colin always ensures that his work is of the highest quality and meets the demands of every project.

Growing up, Lachlan has always had an ear for creativity. His fondest memories: Dancing to Jailhouse Rock on the coffee table in a sequined Elvis costume at the age of 3, and pulling the TV down when trying to imitate the Toyota ‘jump’. Throughout his schooling years, he let his musical side shine, playing bass guitar in most of the music shows and performances whilst also dabbling in keyboard, guitar, and drums at home. Lachlan followed his artistic passions by studying sound at WAAPA. He now spends his time crafting delicate sound designs for everything from TVC’s and radio commercials to short films and documentaries.

As a seasoned sound engineer specialising in long form post-production, Tam has extensive experience in sound design, editing, and mixing, leaving his mark on numerous award-winning productions across film, television, and radio. His vast technical knowledge, attention to detail and commitment to his craft guarantee the highest standard of work every time.

Before moving in to location recording and sound design, Jake came from a background of almost two decades of experience in music, regularly performing in original bands, tribute bands and musical theatre. Jake has a strong interest in immersive and virtual technologies and furthered his studies by studying a Masters degree at the WA Screen Academy where he was nominated for the ASSG Greg Bell Student Encouragement Award in 2022. His achievements have enabled him to forge a career in sound with strong foundations whilst continuing to perform and share his knowledge with others.
